SEO

What is SEO? SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization and SEO which is the practice of increasing the quantity and quality of traffic to your website by optimizing content to be discovered through a search engine’s organic search results.

SEO is such a broad term and includes topics like on-page seo, technical seo, link building, local seo, and analytics to name a few. Our SEO strategies encompass all those topics and more.

We all want to have our website on page 1 of Google, but if you’re just starting out that is completely unrealistic. There are others who sell the dream of page 1 within a month. You can buy the dream, but you will end up with the nightmare afterwards. It takes any where from 6 to 9 months to see any initial movement in your rankings. There are other companies before you who are ranking ahead of your for the keywords you want to rank for and you’re not going to leapfrog them overnight. Or even in a year for that matter.

SEO is a process that requires discipline and time and here at JC Ruiz Consulting that is what we preach. We don’t guarantee page 1 rankings in a month, 2 months or 4.

What we do guarantee is that we will put together a comprehensive strategy that will give your brand or business the visibility and the ability to move up in the search engine rankings. To the right are just some of the SEO services we offer. Contact us today to see how we can help the search engines discover your website!

On-page SEO

With On-page SEO, we pore over all the content on your landing pages. From title tags to links to alt text of images, we don’t leave a stone or link unturned. On-page SEO starts with keywords and who doesn’t love keywords?

We research keywords that have high search volume and have a low to medium competition so you can rank faster for those keywords. We also do a keyword analysis and a gap analysis with your competitors to see if there is an opportunity to rank higher for certain keywords.

From there we ensure that the keyword(s) appears enough times in your content, but not to the point it becomes spammy. We also make sure there is a good balance of internal and external links in your content. There is also analysis of the structure of your content to make sure if flows easily and that it is easy to read for the search engine spiders.

Technical SEO

When building your website or landing pages the look, the feel and the content of the page is important. Equally important is the behind the scenes technical SEO work such as page speed, broken links and crawl errors to just name a few.

We inspect your site structure to make sure everything flows properly. Search engine spiders need to crawl your site and if it’s a hot mess with categories and landing pages that don’t make sense well then you’re site ranking will suffer. Your content should be structure so that is should never take more than 2, 3 the most clicks to get to the desired content.

Site speed is also a major factor in search engine rankings. No one is going to wait 20 seconds let alone 5 for a landing page to load. We ensure that your web pages are loading at their fastest times by using different methods such as compressing files, caching content etc.

And if the search engine spiders can’t crawl your site then you have some big problems. Our technical seo services include crawling issues, moving to SSL, data migrations, site structure and indexation. We remove the roadblocks that may be causing your site harm giving you a better chance to have your content rank higher.

Analytics and Tagging

At JC Ruiz Consulting we’re a big proponent of using data and analytics to track the number of clicks, page visits, etc. We use analytics to measure our SEO strategies and efforts to make sure that they’re working for your brand or business.

We create Google Analytics dashboards for our clients that tie in with Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console to give us the highest quality of data to analyze. Analytics allows us to measure the quality and quantity of SEO traffic that is driven to your website. It also provides the ability for us to pinpoint which pages are poorly performing as well as which pages take the longest to load.

The biggest reason to use analytics is to see how much traffic your site is receiving is organic traffic. Meaning traffic coming from search engines and while all traffic is good, traffic from search engines signals that our seo strategies for you are working and they’re optimally efficient.
